I like the 'at no time...70' rule. keeps people from hoarding.

The Monsters are at a trim 60 active players under contract (plus one gun toting suspendee). Our roster also shows one unsigned, useless, baseball cap wearing, clip-board carrying QB who just won't leave. What's up with that?

Just to be clear, that's an FOF2K7 limit, not an OSFL-imposed one. The game itself won't let you have more than 70. The history behind it is this: when using FOF2K4, a guy in IHOF took over 100 rookies to trianing camp one year, figuring that improved his odds that he'd have a rookie breakout. The league then set a 70-to-camp limit for the next season. It looks like Jim liked the league rule so much that he included it in the next version of the game.

        That is correct.
Actually, I'm pretty sure you can take 70 into training camp, not 69. And I know for a fact that you can carry as few as 44 on the active list in preseason and the regular season (although it's not really a good idea).
Actually, it could be a great idea.....Keeps salary costs down. :)
