    2036 AI Sims

Here's how the AI thinks the OSFL will fare this year. 100 injuries, AI gameplans.

If you'd like, help us out by calculating and posting the average # of wins for one division. That way Hooper doesn't end up doing all of them! And then, at the end of the year, we can compare how we actually did to the expected average.

    11-5 to 6-10.

We are really poor in the OL/DL which was a huge mistake this offseason. Next season we are excited though as we will have A LOT of money to spend in FA in hopes of building those positions up.

Really no clue where we go. The huge question in St. Paul is does Sage get traded after this season or do we try and win another ring with him?

According to this, we're either a playoff team or a top 5 draft pick. Looks like we will win 10 or more games or 6 or less. No middle ground. The average however is 7.2. So there's that. I'll take the first season sim though please....13-3.

                NC North
                1. Chicago (9.1 wins - 1.3 stdev)
                2. Dakota (9.1 wins - 2.34 stdev)
                3. St. Paul (8.5 wins - 1.8 stdev)
                4. North Liberty (8.3 wins - 1.95 stdev)

That's a lot of playoff contenders right here. Dakota would have run away with things if not for a 5-win season. Chicago never reached the peaks Dakota did (two 12-win seasons), but has the lowest variance of any team in the two divisions I looked at.

                NC East
                1. Camden (11.5 wins - 2.06 stdev)
                2. Brooklyn (10.4 wins - 1.62 stdev)
                3. Boston (8.3 wins - 2.00 stdev)
                4. South Maryland (7.3 wins - 2.05 stdev)

South Maryland was remarkably consistent (9 wins in the first four sims, 8 wins in the next three) until the last three runs, when they fell apart: 5 wins, 3 wins, 5 wins.

Yeah, that sudden dropoff is pretty strange.

I don't think we're really a 9 win team anyway. Too many holes that need to be filled. I think if Doelle rushes for 2500 yards, we'll win 10 games, otherwise it will be a very interesting year with a lot of young players in key positions.

7 of 22 starters have 6+ years of experience.

On offense, our QB and SE are in their 2nd season, FB and RT are rookies.

On defense, SLB, RCB, and SS are rookies. SILB and LCB are 2nd year players. Only our LDE and FS have 5+ years of experience.

Basically, this leaves a lot of opportunity for inconsistency.
