How my scout sees our class:

    1.13 - LDE - Korey Cassidy - 43/84
    2.8 - LT - Andrew Dennis - 27/77
    2.24 - RDE - Ronald Dawson - 18/60
    3.6 - LDT - William Lake - 26/55
    3.18 - SS - Kenny Springer - 29/58
    4.13 - SLB - Darrell Riner - 25/54 (Originally a WLB)
    4.22 - TE - Juan Janes - 31/60
    4.23 - RB - Chris Hutton - 39/57
    4.29 - SE - Randy Edwards - 20/46
    5.30 - RT - O.J. Foulke - 11/57
    6.3 - RDE - Ernie Andreou - 22/50
    6.24 - P - Alan Purnell - 33/49
    6.27 - RB - Derrick Reader - 35/40
    6.29 - MLB - Vinny Romeo - 20/56 (originally a SLB)
    7.3 - QB - B.J. Whitener - 12/64
    7.30 - K - Percy Reese - 42/48

I've got a ton of potential here, I just hope half of them are as good as advertised when the dust settles over the next couple years.

I'm especially surprised by B.J. Whitener. That potential rating has to be too good to be true.

I have said before that I thought this draft had an enormous amount of depth, even on the surface, and it certainly appears to at this point. I'm just looking forward to Training Camp and everything afterwards to see who pans out and who was just presenting a facade that somehow fooled my scout.

Your sixth round pick is a nice pickup . . .you did very well in the third through seventh round. . .that's where your depth can improve. . .

Oh no, Sir! This is not a point of contention.

As previously stated, I'm simply voicing my dissent from your most honored and edjumakated opinion. :)

In other news, how's that new Monsters lid coming?

All 7 picks above 50 potential here in PUNX land.... That's actually pretty hard to do... Will probably get 4 out of 7 starters this year (maybe more of a commentary on my lack of great starters  )

I actually targeted Whitner and the guy I selected, Hines, who comes in with a 53 potential rating. We'll see how they both pan out.

I don't think so. Crawford should be very good, I think Lincoln will end up being better than that. Douthett could be decent and Howard for a 4th round pick is right up there with most all the gaurds taken in the draft at this point. Remember what Skydog said....

To be clear on this: virtually every number that you see right now for your rookie players is WRONG. That's just what your scout thinks about him at the moment. The truth will be slowly revealed. It's a pretty good model.
