Gotta try and get rid of that conflict, Irish! If it's a dead heat, I think you gotta go with the incumbent. More developed, more formations, a much cheaper Prescott in the offseason...
So, Boston lays it all on the line this week at Brooklyn. So far, this appears to be a middle of the road offense with very poor running, but a strong defense. The Irish are 1st in Pass Rush %, 4th in Pass Defense %, and 1st in Passing YPA Allowed. The Boston OL is 1st in Pass Rush % yielded. On all of these counts it should be strength vs strength against Brooklyn, and I welcome the test.
There's little chemistry here, but a lot of talent in that back four. We'll have our work cut out for us, because I don't think our pass rush is actually that great, and Brooklyn's own talented secondary could snuff out the only offense we have. They are 6 point favorites.

So close. We fell behind 17-0 and was down 20-3 at the half. 24 second half points and the tying score with under two minutes had us thinking OT. Then the defense fell apart and Utah went 80 yards and got he game winner with 30 seconds to play.
We decided to start recent QB pickup, Cayden Comella after the regular backup, HOrace Dehart just didn't look real good in his starts. Aside from three picks (one of which lead to a TD for Utah), Comella didn't look to bad. He had over 300 yards and three TD's while leading the team's comeback. He'll keep the job for now.
So that brings Boston back down to earth a little. The secondary had an impressive day against Garner, and I think for this year, with those two veteran safeties, we have a pretty elite pass defense. Unfortunately, run defense still seems lacking, and the offense can't get going against quality defenses.
We were ahead going into the 4th, but our defense, which gave up just two FGs in the first 55 minutes, gave up a TD with 5 minutes left to tie it, then, San Fran got the ball in OT and scored, never giving our offense a chance. We lose 19-13 after our defense dominated the majority of the game. Their defense held Doelle to 48 yards rushing on 24 carries, so I think that's a big plus for San Fran also, to keep them in the game defensively.
Camden, coming off a bye week next.
