That's my take after one week of football.

Honestly, I'm struggling to care about this team anymore. I kinda just want to win another championship () and dismantle my team. Maybe I should've taken over Boston.

But no! The Mermen need me!

Undrafted rookie FA Blair will get his first OSFL start this week. Like Mr. T did in Rocky, I predict pain... probably for SMD :)

Wow, you aren't kidding. At least he'll have a half decent chance to not be sacked, but otherwise...

Fortunately I have a good RB and half decent offensive line. My only hope! Time to drink... and drink... and drink...

                    GG, umd.

We lost to our fellow bottom-feeding roster team (Motor City and Boston are tied with ratings of 3). That's not good! We gotta win these games. But, you know, it was pretty competitive and well-matched, save for the sizable gap in points scored.

On to Week 3 and the hapless Columbus Catfish! Another rare game where the Irish are favored.

WTF Brooklyn???? What did I ever do to you? I want a full blown league investigation into the bounties that were put on my players this week. Five guys went down during the game. The worst of all being Heath Morton. I built this offense around him. He is our future. He was the savior for this team. Now he's out for 32 weeks. Goodbye season.

I was really looking forward to a good season with this team.

Thought we had a good gameplan for Phoenix with Jenning's low read defense and 100% double cover, but he threw away from double coverage about 10-11 times straight. Even when he started throwing into it again, it only stopped guys from catching the ball for a little while.

We kicked a couple field goals deep in Phoenix territory, had a few bad turnovers, and generally did what teams do when they lose. We used to be incredibly deep at WR, but today we had a guy who was picked up just for special teams/affinity lead the team in targets and receptions. We're going to be missing Jude Hutchins until he's healthy again.

The only good news is J.T. England is finally performing like I have expected him to. The defense has gone through a rebuild and cohesion is severely lacking compared to a normal Dakota D.

Good game, Phoenix! Scary offense you've got there, as usual. :)

                              yeah thanks gg foos

we go to the Bad Lands and sammy started out 16/19 208 in the 1st half, the verticle attack was finally effective.

turned into a slap fight in the 3rd q with sammy going 2 for 10 and both teams being bad, i threw a int and lost a fumble mix in some penalties and we finally pulled away in the 4th.

measuring stick game against one of the consistently best in the league. no rest for the wicked tho as the next 4 out of 5 are against playoff teams, next up Anchorage and our friend Shark boy.
