I just checked the bowl list...holy crap, 11 straight championship games? That's ridiculously impressive. Was that you, Nutah?

Haha! The first 11, yes. #12 was King Kosar.

Well, it begins and ends with QB Boone. We were getting a good team around him as I was starting to figure out the draft, and when we traded for a premiere 6th-year RB to complete the squad in '22, it blew things wide open.

As the older players declined, I got better at prioritizing the right skills (pass block, pass rush, coverage), learned how to gameplan (playaction vertical; I think Boone's stats will show when the light bulb came on there), and cashed in my draft picks stockpile in the last few years to keep us going. A lot of help watching & learning from GMs like chuck, Firefly, bomber, Mike17, Nemesis, etc.

We were also helped by no small amount of luck on the way, and the blessing that all the league's top teams kept getting stacked in the NC conference

I remember when the OSFL began and Cotton put that franchise together. Including the colors and the Bee mascot.

Indeed. That was much before my time, but the Early Bees were quite the dominant force in the league as well. Cotton left a good team for me that I messed up when I first came here.
