    • Hey, Brooklyn's drafting for himself now. Give credit where it's due.... :)

      • Yeah, but the first pick was made on CPU control, and that damn RB was gonna be mine. :) He has been nothing but a pleasant drafter for not taking my guys with his picks, Unlike some people I know.

          • Ahhh, that pick. I'm a firm believer that even if Brooklyn weren't on CPU control, HrfdWhale still would have taken Hartman there. That pick was so obvious, I almost made it myself for that team when it didn't have an owner....

            • Yeah, agreed. He could have taken a QB too, but really none were there worth pick 7.

                    • I put, what, 10 players in the utility in the first round?

I ended up getting one of my original ten that late in the third round. I'll take it. 8)

                      • I'll be home in 45 minutes or so. I'll pick then if it's up to me.

And SkyDog, I think you're lying to psyche us out.

                        • Skydog, with as much experience as you have with the game, is this not an extremely deep draft?

Well, I didn't put any of the top 15ish players overall in my list, because I assumed they'd all be gone by the time I drafted. However, I truthfully only put around 10 in my list for the 1(30) pick, and ended up snagging one of those 10 with the 94th overall pick.

Julio: In IHOF, we have something that we call "draft goggles." All drafts look great. Everyone gets exactly the players that they want. The draft was an A+. YAYYYYYYYY.

Then, they show up for training camp and you start to see that they are NOT who you thought they were.

That's when the draft goggles come off.

                            • I can see what youre saying there skydog, with your experience, I don't take that lightly. But as far as perceived talent even, this draft is like Eden compared to a barren desert (if flora and fauna were quality players) when I put it up against other drafts I have seen and been a part of.

Sounds a lot like Cowboy fans, except their goggles never come off.
