As we move on you can really see the differences in scouting. There are some guys that get picked that are way down on my list, but others that are just sitting there that I can't believe are still there.
This makes it all the better and I think allows for those late round gems that many scouts have missed.
I'm curious, am I missing something with the scouting/interviews. All I saw was underrated, very underrated, just as we scouted, overrated, and very overrated. I saw some other people say back up and stuff like that, is that their view of what the scout said or was there a screen I missed?
Once you conducted interviews, it should have also changed the ranges on the bar graphs of abilities.
But there wasn't like a previous bar graph was there? I guess I probably messed up my rankings then, all I pretty much went on was the graph and the over/under rated players..LOL
I'm happy to grab Lincoln in the 3rd, needed a 3rd WR so bad, and he was one I thought would go ahead of me.
Pre-interview, the graph should have shown very wide bars representing a larger variance in potential. After the interview, the bars should be much smaller and more in the ballpark of a specific number. Then you have to factor in everything else. It's personal preference thing. I even used the Agent when I was coming up with my board. If they shared an agent with some of my leaders, I considered that a '+'... does it mean anything? Don't know.
Dam, I woke up this morning to find the top three guys on my list went 1, 2, 3, right in front of my pick! Was really hoping Lincoln or Cox slipped.
The run on fullbacks in the last couple of picks means I may be looking to trade down with 3.18 for a couple of lesser picks. I was hoping to get at least Truitt. Make an offer if there's someone you want sooner than me. :)

then you manage to take my next pick...lol.
It's Andrew's and EG's fault! But at that position I had to nab Findley, he was too much of a value there and I need help at LB. After Givens he was the most athletically gifted inside backer on the board. So that was a clear case of 'best available' on our board.

I thought about trading down since there were other DTs that I liked further down the board, but I had to take Springer there. I'm ok with his lack of pass rushing prowess if he clogs up the middle for me and he was actually one of the few guys who projected to "as scouted" instead of "vastly, incredibly overrated" like almost every other player I interviewed.

That was a good pick. Great against the run, top tier agility.
