Yeah, the time limit on the utility has seemed odd all day.

Jesus you people are friggin impatient. I'm well within the time limit for my pick, so why should I be forced to rush it. The utility also came online at the last possible minute before the draft started, and with a busy weekend I didn't have time to set up a list properly. I don't understand why everyone is in such a rush to get through what has easily been the most fun aspect of this game so far.

Skerik, I appreciate you not selecting the guy in my queue as others suggested since it was my 2nd choice at DT, which I just picked with 1.31. Needless to say, i wouldn't have been very happy.

Actually, I think you're 2 hours past your time limit. The time in the utility is off. At least you got to pick who you wanted though.

Talking and doing something are too different things. There's a fine line between excitement and impatience... I think it's pretty harmless that people are excited to be moving.

Where was it said that we'd move to 6 hours after the 1st round? I must have missed that because I thought I had all day, which is the case when looking at the utility.

I probably wouldn't have picked Eugene there if a punter hadn't been a VERY important part of my winning a championship in another MP league about a week ago.

I think he'll be the best punter in the league or at least among them for the next 10 years for me. Besides, he has a great name for a punter.

The point is this is our first offseason, and I don't really understand the huge rush to get through it. I agree there is a fine like between excitement and patience but people telling Skerik to pick for me before the time limit in the utility is up is pretty impatient. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to stay home all weekend just to run the draft and if that's the expectation here, maybe this isn't the right league for me.

If the draft utility had been up before the morning of the draft, I probably would have had time to fill things out properly. Not placing any blame, I just think people need to be more understanding of the circumstances around this draft.

Skerik said it somewhere to begin the draft, I remember reading it. Sully's right though, the utility's time is totally messed up.

Port City just finshed a trade with Ohio Valley and selected Irv Furnas, TE from Rowan, wherever that is. Now I can run an errand.

I'd rather get through the draft so I know exactly what I have to address in free agency, but that's just me. No biggie though. You got your guy, and we're moving again. Everyone should be happy.

FYI, I didn't design the utility, nor do I know how to configure the timing within it.

Also also FYI, I apologize for deleting the post in which I said the time limit was down to 6 hours after the first round. It dawns on me that I said that in the forum post that was supposed to track the draft, which I deleted when we didn't need anymore.
