I look at my team and I don't like it, but it performs.
To be fair, I don't like my defense as it's in need of some more talented youth. I expect half of my starters to be gone next year. Could be a good thing.
The Dakota infirmary tent has a huge game against St. Paul today. Hopefully our revamped secondary can handle Harward and Glynn, who are a pretty good duo.
Cash is starting to get a stranglehold on this job. Really sharp performance out of him and the Boston defense, although Camden's QB being hurt helped. We're not in the best of shapes as a team, but we are, improbably, 5-5...and even more improbably, in a position to overtake Brooklyn as division leader.
GG rando!
This really is a brave new world. Seeing a weak run defense and thinking, "I'm going to go heavy run and mostly short pass" is not something I ever would have done in FOF2k7.
Crushed like the injured bugs we are. Sage and Glynn smoked us.
This week's injury is one of our reserve backs out for 3 weeks. Fortunately we have a lot of RBs.
The good news: Douglas is back in two weeks and we're still in contention, for now.
We got lucky. I turned up the heat though against the new guy. Not sure if it worked. Can't let him throw to the super WR/TE combo you have. Prob the most talented in the league...maybe the world.
