  • Week 8 Discussion [TRADE DEADLINE]

This week's sim will be the last one for trades. They can be before or after the games, doesn't matter.

Glad we got the win as I forgot to alter the gameplan. Oh well, turned out okay.

The NC North has three 6-win teams, that's incredible.

Brooklyn bounced back with a W this week, but the conference favorites are off to a tough 4-3 start.

Utah got walloped by division rivals Denver, with the hampered Scott Syron continuing his slide from his blistering game 1 performance.

Boston, we had a BYE this week -- we'll be back with safety Howie Laflamme's 18th (and hopefully more!) snap of the season.

Start of the season: 2 wins in convincing fashion... next 5 games... losses.

Congrats St Paul, you are the first team to beat us by more than 3 points. It was a 6 point loss this time.

We are now 2-5, and have still outscored our opponents. We must be one or 2 players away from being a contending team, to come this close week after week.

Yup. Can't win against a good team when no one is healthy.

I really love how the game simulates now perfectly the real injuries which surround the NFL. Now you need to have a full competent roster not only a stars in the first line-up and just fill-roster-bitts in the bench.

You now could lose a fully season if your true star is down by injury (ask New Orleans Saints without Graham) or Denver in the super bowl without their stellar LT...

Rough loss vs North Liberty. We played a close game until everything went south in a hurry, with Nicky Stevens getting hurt and NLB running back a 102 yard KR TD.

For the second straight year we will be starting our QB#3 for what will probably be multiple games.

Thankfully, we have a bye this week to prepare.

BTW - If I don't have 3 QBs to slot in my depth chart, will it mess up all my screens Rexing stuff if I'm on a bye week? I'm especially concerned about the AI possibly placing Nicky Stevens on IR, because that's one of the things a window threatens to do when I export!

Nutah, in case my depth chart needs to be filled, just throw whoever in the open slots to make it legal so I don't get screwed. Since I have a bye who goes where doesn't matter. Thanks!

Foos, if you have a bye, it won't matter what your depth chart is. The game will throw a message, but rexxing logic only happens when games do. I'll make sure nothing happens with Dakota this week just in case!

There's also a midweek tomorrow morning.

Another good showing from our defense and Wilder. Jesus did enough to help get us out in front. Still on top of the division and all is right in the world.

Awesome! If there's a midweek tomorrow morning I should be able to handle it myself anyway!
