This year, we're bringing a CyFL tradition over to the OSFL: posting the results of 10 AI runs of the season from Midweek 1 rosters, with injuries on, and CPU-run gameplans.

There's plenty of room for a savvy human owner to guide their team to a better &mdash; even much better &mdash; season. But, there's plenty of give in the other direction, too...

yes, bomber, Brooklyn's done very well.

By the way, I'd like some feedback on this. We do these AI sims every year in the CFL, and I think it's a good way to get owners engaged and have something to talk about / goals to chase after for their seasons. There's the personal satisfaction of doing 2 or 3 games better than your AI average, for example.

However, if you feel it's not something you want to know, or want the commish to be doing, I'll be happy to discontinue it. It's an enormous amount of clicking, after all, and I understand any concerns as well, especially given what's happened in the BLB here.

I think it's a cool idea. Good to see we have top talent. Too bad we have bad human coaching.

And the BLB should have no bearing in this. What happened there was a sad man manipulating a league for his benefit. I trust you explicitly. I mean you already went to the FOF Bowl 10 times as a GM.

Average of seven wins after winning 12 last season. Interesting. To be fair I guess, I didn't have the midweek roster done, so maybe the game wasn't looking at my real starters. I hope. I think we can win more than seven games.


PS: I really like this feature.

The depth charts and GPs *should* have been CPU adjusted for everyone the entire season. Although if teams were over the roster limit, the AI would have made their cuts for them.

Boston looks like it's averaging just south of .500 overall (or right around there) -- not too shabby!

Wow, 7.1 wins for South Maryland. I wonder how the hell that happened? Maybe I should have taken Columbus... both teams are really quite bad, but Columbus only averaged 4.2 wins.

That's a long, hard fall for the might Columbus empire, which wrought much destruction unto its foes in its glory days (which encompassed most of the league's life!) Sith Lord Bobby Tubbs is spinning in his grave.
