Ok, first off, thanks for all the encouraging responses to the other post. I believe what most people have been saying is true - that a large portion of our problems were due to one bad owner and the fact that we're experiencing inevitable growing pains during our first offseason. One problem is solved and we're slogging through the mud on the second problem, but I really do think that an increased usage of the questions forum will be a benefit to all owners. Many thanks to those who are responding to questions in there, as it greatly facilitates our ability to move ahead with each stage.
Once a new owner is acquired to replace he who shall not be named, I will rollback yesterday's sim and re-run it. But I need the new owner in place before that happens to give him a chance to participate in the first renegotiation stage of free agency. I also expect that we'll be slightly scaling back the every night offseason schedule. Some people are having trouble keeping up and it's difficult for people who work during the day like yours truly to come home and have enough time to scour the entire FA pool before getting an export in by 10pm. Again, I'll address the schedule once our ownership vacancy is filled.
Important notice:
It is not necessary to resubmit yesterday's export, as I have all your files stored locally. If you would like to resubmit because you screwed something up, then upload your file as you normally would and send me a PM telling me you'd like to resubmit with your team number (the number at the end of your file extension). I know some people were confused about what this stage involved, so here's a chance to resubmit. I am backing up the league before each sim, but don't get used to the chance to resubmit stages. Unless something is egregiously screwed up across the board, this is a one time offer.
Again, thanks for the encouragement. I expect the sailing to be smoother from here on out and hopefully the shared camaraderie of enjoying the league will guide everyone's forum behavior in the future.
