  • Jesus on edge of history... Twice...

Jesus currently sitting at 5029 passing yds needing 263 more yds for the single season yards record. With a measley 37 more yards after... He can break his own record he set back in 2031... 300 yd passing games. It's at 12 now could be at 13 after this Gainesville game...

Also on a long shot chance at a record. Schwartz has 116 catches. The record is 135. Not going to happen but that would be nuts...

Well, I'm glad I slowed Schwartz down again. ;)

On the single season record front...Shannon Fulton needs one interception to tie the record. He currently sits at 12. There is no record listed for interceptions returned for a TD, but he has 6 right now. I have to think that would be close to if not a record. Anyone know of another player who's had more pick sixes in a season?

Also, Mickey Baines may be the oldest QB to throw for over 3000 yards. I don't know really, but the guy is as old as dirt and having a pretty good year.

I doubt we've had 6 int for TDs in a season before. FOFC has a discussion that FOF7 has increased the pick sixes, so you're probably seeing a bit of that benefit.

5480 yards and 13 300 yard games to finish the season. Schwartz finishes with 126 catches in 15 games. Not too shabby.

Our team broke the record for avg yards given up on the ground per game with 79.7.

That just boggles my mind as I don't focus on stopping the run. Actually, that may not be true. I don't care what a player's skill is at stopping the run (outside of SS), but I definitely schemed more run stopping in. Interesting.

He did it!! In the final game of the season. Shannon Fulton picked off his 13th pass of the season, tying the leagues single season record for interceptions. He also returned that 13th interception for a TD, making that SEVEN pick sixes this year. That HAS to be a record.

On top of that, I think the biggest reason for our successful season was our turnover ratio. #1 in the league with a +20.

Sure enough, the previous record seems to have been 3, set by Bucky Hodges in 2026 and tied by Shannon Fulton in 2029. Darrell Schultz also returned 3 interceptions for TDs this year with his 3rd coming in week 15 against Morgantown. Or course by this point Fulton had already broken the old record (also against Morgantown, in week 12).

For our team's new records, nothing individually, but we did manage as a team to average 179.1 rushing yards per game for the season, beating our old league record of 177.2 per game.

Awesome didn't realize Schultz had 3 returns. Thanks for the heads up! Your rushing attack is pretty beast I must say...

Jesus threw a lot of passes again.

Brooklyn's RB had a year for the ages, however.
