As far as I know there's nothing Skerik could do to reverse it so what would the point of delaying the sim? There's also no way for him to verify whether it was a bug or user error.

A similar thing happened to me in FOF 2004. . .I thought I was offering a guy the DC job and he wound up being my head coach. It was an honest mistake and I'm not really suffering any repercussions. My team is 5-2 and still atop the NC North in the DFL. You just have to go in and tweak the gameplan just a little bit to overcome any of your HC's deficiencies.

I just feel that there was a serious lack of effort to look into the problem. Pretty sure if it was Sheriks team this happened too, it would of been looked into more. But yeah, the season was already delayed once so God forbid the sim was pushed back one day to look into it.

The only thing seriously lacking is your grasp of the problem and how the nightly sim process works. I download the files. I run the sim. I save the game. I export the results. After that export was run two nights ago, you signed a head coach. Game over, he signed. That means you can't sign another one during this offseason. Again, I reiterate, game over. Unless you want me to turn into Superman, fly around the freaking earth and reverse time back to the point where you f'd up your coaching contract offer, there isn't a lot I can do about the problem. And even then, I don't look at the individual exports for perceived anomalies, so I wouldn't have noticed it even if we could go back.

Believe it or not, every problem this league encounters isn't my fault.

You would look into it. You would contact the makers of the game and ask if there was a way to manually override it. You would of put forth more of an effort.............now I am supposed to play an entire season with someone who isn't a HC.

I'm not quitting, or trying to be a pain. I will live either way, it's just a game. I just feel that had it been the commissioners team, more would of been done. Don't see how delaying the sim one day to investigate the matter would of hurt. I sent my problem via PM and next thing I know the new file is posted. :roll:
