you only franchise a guy who is on his last year or who just finished his last year and will be a RFA ???? You would just do this so he would have to resign for you ?

Use the Francise tag for players who are about to become Unrestricted Free Agents.

I don't have any I want to keep that I haven't already negotiated with.

I have no idea why leagues have a tradition of doing a thread. It's completely unnecessary. Doing it in-game is all that matters.
