NO... although the game itself... the very intelligent... statistics based game... did choose Clements as the winner... I have no control over how you slappies voted... ;)

LOL, you called a text based sports simulation game intelligent.

It's all about the intangibles, brother. Maybe you didn't get your Oyster Rolex before voting?

(League HQ) -- In a vote that was really no surprise to anyone, Columbus Quarterback Corey Lincoln ran away with the 2006 Offensive Player of the Year award, receiving 15 first place votes on the 24 ballots that were cast. Lincoln, who threw for over 4000 yards in just 14 games, beat out Motor City Runningback Kenneth Clements by nearly 20 points to take home the honor.

Final voting numbers looked like this:

                          Corey Lincoln - 1st - 55 points (15 first place votes)
                          Kenneth Clements - 2nd - 36 points (4 first place votes)
                          Bruce O'Neill - 3rd - 16 points (2 first place votes)

Two other players received first place votes, JR Sierra (1) and Hugh Alloy (2) who finished 4th and 5th in the voting respectively.

Others receving votes: Damon Bishop (9pts), Ross Shapiro (2pts), Kenyon Heflin (2pts), and Kendall Watanabe (1pt).

The league will announce the Defensive Player of the Year next.
