Elicense help!

My computer fried awhile back and I just rebuilt it. Problem is I never had my elicense uninstalled. SO I have two active licensce's, one at work and the dead one at home.

Does anyone know if I can get a new licesnce and deactivate my old one? I can't run the program at home anymore. Thanks!

I haven't had to do this before, but you might try releasing one of your in-use licenses through your work copy of the game. I have contacted Elicense support (support@elicense.com) before and found them to be reliable and fairly responsive, so there's always that route.

I sent them an email. I'll let you know what they say. If I have to I'll unregister at work, but I'd still like to have 2 working licenses.

They were very helpful. They sent me a new license. I will try it when I get home.

They have always responded very promptly during the work week and even surprisingly quick on the weekend. You should be good to go when you get home.

I've had to do this 4 times with fof 2001.. Yes, they're very good about it. Its been over a 5 year period, and they've always consistently replied and given my license back within a day or so.

Man I can't get this to work anymore. They reset me, the game doesn't even get to the splash screen.

I've removed and reinstalled the licensce, and removed and reinstalled the game and I can't get it working. I don't know what to do? Any ideas?

are you sure it's not conflicted? (open up task manager and see if the ff2007.exe process is running) --- Not sure what to do next as every conflict is different...

Yep I found a program not allowing it to run. Once I killed it I had like 8 instances of it running!

That has happened to me a bunch of times, sort of.

I have to reboot to get FOF to open up.

The only way I 'discovered' the problem was that right before my machine shut down, three of four instances of FOF would pop open.
