Our rookie right tackle Deron Ripple suffered a stress fracture in our first preseason game and will be out 7 weeks.

Confused why my QB played the whole game when I have it set at 3. At least he wasn't hurt. It didn't seem to help either. The offense wasn't very good this game. The defense continues to look strong. Two pick sixes. Very nice.

We'll try the rookie QB's in the next game and see how they do.

In one of my other leagues my QB nearly always plays the entire game and I have the playing time set at 2.

I've never seen it in preseason. I've had playing time set at 8 in preseason and the starter only played a series or two. So this was really strange to me.

Good first week showing by our defensive unit. Would like to see more from the offense, but I think we'll get more as we figure out how best to deploy them.
