If you hit reset all, it would change everything to same. You'd have to go in and change everything to never manually.

You're right, I just tried it and the first column is "Never" the rest are "Same". WTF!?!? :x

Because the first column is go for it on 4th. There is no 'Same' for that setting.

Hey, did we ever find out why this happened? It just happened to a bunch of teams in RNFL in preseason week 2. Definitely a bug somewhere, or is it a problem with the import/export?

No, nobody ever figured out why it happened. Did anyone notice it prior to the week 2 preseason sim in that league? Because short of entering the game as each owner prior to simming each week's games and looking at their gameplan, there's really no way to catch this problem before it happens....

Damn.. Quite the conundrum.. It happened in a lot of games too. Guys were throwing to themselves and running goalline all game long for no reason.. hopefully when its all said and done I can pass whatever info I have to everyone else to try to ensure it doesn't happen again.. For now I assume it is a bug, but I don't know if it is that for sure, or if somehow the imports/exports are being corrupted. In the game I played, our opponent threw EVERY down, with their only rushing attempt coming on a QB scramble. The opposing starter threw 4 times to himself, including once for 8 yards and a TD.

I have a pm out to Jim to see if he knows anything about it, and I am searching the boards at FOFC for any related info.. I'll be sure and PM you and post what I find here, should there be any solution or explanation found.

At least I think we can safely say no one was tanking now.

Reminds me of a South Park episode.

But if you set everything to 'Never' that's what happens to your offense. The South Park little league team didn't have that option. :)

Yes, apologies to that unnamed owner whom I ignorantly semi-accused of tanking. :)

Let me know if you find anything over at FOFC, or through Jim, as it would be nice to have a way of preventing the problem in the future and I really don't have a way of doing that now that doesn't add a lot of extra work verifying exports before the sims run.

The problem lies with the offensive Personnel (formations) used under each offensive formation. Check each of your personnel windows for each formation. Make sure that no position is listed twice. Such as "Tight end 1" being used in two different spots. This will cause errors when those formations are used during a game.

I corrected Miami's personnel screens and it fixed his problem. This running backs were now correctly earning carries.

Everyone should make sure you check your personnel formation screens have no doubled-up positions. In Miami's case, they had Tight end 1 playing in two spots under several formations. I bet when those formations were used during the sim, the game didn't know how to handle it. This caused his quarterback to hand the ball off to himself in a running play.

Again, you guys need to look for your selves. As much I'd love to look at every teams' gameplans, I'd rather leave this self policing up to you guys.

But, I will pay attention and will try to make sure that every team is fixed by the start of the regular season.

                    Everyone can thank me later.

This is from the commish over at the RNFL..

Hopefully that is the case, I guess he re-ran the sim after fixing the personnel settings and it fixed the problem.
