QB Marshall DeJesus falls just short of the passing yard record, but sets a single-season record for 300+ yard days with 12.

WR Tyrus Dennis, the Columbus great, scores two TDs with his new team, Portland, which is enough for the career receiving TDs record at 129. A majority of those were accumulated in one game against Washington.

C Ethan Griffin, still with Columbus, sets a KRBO record at 1262. He's started every single regular season game of his 15-year career, wow! Is that a record?

DE Omar O'Neill of the Sharks reaches 112.0 sacks on his career. This one may not be touched for a while, although Columbus's Renaldo Schulte has to be on pace for something similarly extraordinary...

CB Kurt McCloud, in the 13th year of his illustrious Denver career, holds the career passes defensed record now at 226. This one's going to be incredibly tough for any currently active player to even sniff.

CB Stephen Easton of Utah has been one of the league's top punt returners since he arrived, and the 10-year vet finally breaks through and now holds the record for PR yards.

RB Desmond Kinney of Gainesville has the career All-Purpose Yards record at 27,753, and there is some serious distance between him and the next several active players, all of whom are in the twilight of their own careers.

Feel free to add to this, especially for your own teams, I'm not all that attentive...

Locally, one funny thing of note is the Utah team highs chart for team rushes per game, the top 10 on that list are the seasons from 2022-2031.

    Other Utah team records
Rookie WR Bruce Perkins has a single-season team receiving TDs record, with 13. Really impressive. That and QBR (122.7) were the only team records set this year.

RBs J.R. Talley and Josh Clovis finish with the 12th and 13th best rushing seasons, respectively, in the same year, both over the 1k mark.

Ike Arias's 16.5 sacks are good for 4th on the team list, behind three performances by Matthew O'Donnell (18.5, 17.5, 17.0), ahead of one of his own (15.0), and followed further by two years of Carlos Melnick (13.5, 13.5). His 40 hurries nearly beat out Melnick's still-standing 2022 record of 41, which hasn't come close to being matched otherwise since.

No joke. Liliedahl may have had a chance if I hadn't had Gentala and Laflamme been sucking up so many of the thrown balls for so many years. This year he tied for second in the single season record at 29 for passes defended. There's three players there, but McCloud site up top with 33.

AJ Hassett became the all time sacks leader for Dakota this season, passing up J.B. Hughes.

      That's all I've got.

I'm bumping this to say two things:

          (1) Only one season record fell this year and that was Randy Boone breaking Cary Money's YPP record.

          (2) Randy Boone fell just shy of breaking Bobby Tubbs' passer rating record. Maybe next year, Tobacco.

Haha! Darnit, but then, Tubbs was always better...

Boone walks into the YPA record books with a 10.61 mark. I'm a little disappointed I couldn't keep it above 11 all year, but he made a good effort of it late, with 11 and 12 in the final two games.

Incidentally, the YPA records are owned by Boone & Cary Money. The top 5...Boone 32, Money 28, Boone 22, Money 27, Boone 31. Man, what could've been in '22! I wasn't even passing deep. Way before the PAV days.

SF's Chris Cropley broke the Single Game APY record in 2032 with 463.

Utah smashed the points scored record by putting up 37.7 (previously held by Columbus, who accomplished 33.9 in both 2017 and 2023).

Also noteworthy, Utah's 5.22 passing YPA allowed is the lowest the league has seen since its inaugural year in 2006, when half the league did better (but hey, does that even count? )

I hate records from the first couple of seasons, really skewed.

Boston set franchise records for points scored and points allowed this season.

Cary Money didn't have the flashy YPA this year, but we seemed to do better in the scoring dept.

Brian Douglas sets the franchise record for most passing yards in a season for Dakota with 3,994 passing yards.

Quack Duckworth sets the franchise record for rushing TDs in a season with 14. He also broke the single game rushing record for our franchise with 212 vs Yuma.

Rowland sets the franchise record for all purpose yards in a season with 2,355 and in a game with 365.

We set the franchise record for Points Scored as an offense this season. It's not a coincidence that we also had the most effective passing offense ever to take the field for the Totems.

This made me go look too. Yup. 15-1 is Boston's best season to date.
