Oh well... next week is next week.

Yeah, I don't feel like my team earned that win today at all. We were lucky. I just wish we could have done this earlier in the season when the playoffs were a realistic goal.
Your team made all the big plays. I shot myself in the foot here and there, but your guys forced fumbles and converted opportunities. GG

Well, I dominated in the first half, holding Denver to less than 60 yards, but I could only muster 3 field goals. The second half saw me get shut out until there was less than a minute remaining in the game. A nice quick drive, and 6 points later, we won by six. IT was a tough game, SURPRISINGLY tough, GG Denver.

        dola,
The NC wild card is really looking interesting. Camden, Pearl Harbor, San Francisco and Morgantown all sitting at 7-5. Morgantown has the wild card right now, I assume due to tie breakers. This is going to be interesting. I have to face what I assume will be a pissed off Las Vegas team next week. Why did San Francisco have to beat them, I hate RUBISCO!!!

J.R. Sierra becomes the first receiver to catch 3 TD passes in a game, and Corey Lincoln becomes the OSFL's first 3,000-yard passer. If this game had an option to triple-team a receiver, I'm guessing that Sierra would be a target for it at this point.

            8 in a row !!!!!!!!!!

            Billy Joe Jizmejian 23 for 28, 257 yds and 4 TD's. :D

Pretty happy at 9-3 considering that I don't have a WR with 500 yds receiving yet.

You are right about your D (did not know that it came down to the last 3 minutes) --- they look like a top 10 defense "on paper."

No kidding. I doubled him a lot and he beat it pretty much every time.

Bruce O'Neill continues to be a beast. He ran back a punt 85 yards for a TD (after our team was called for offsides, LV decided to re-punt), and we win a close one 17-13. Maybe I DO have a shot at the playoffs.

Very quietly the punx phils have turned into one of the best D's in the league ----- 71 points over the last 8 games... even though I can't stop the run.... I switched to the 4-3 and it made a world of difference...

While I can't get my offensive AI to work the right way when I'm trailing late in the game, I think I have a handle on my defense finally. Whether it's just a coincidence or not, I think I've come up with a damn good representation of the "Tampa 2" defense. However, like the real Cover 2, it's not as effective when you don't get to the Quarterback. The Mechanics will be looking to upgrade their Defensive Line this off-season.

Because with under 2-3 minutes to go, the AI goes to shit, I'm convinced of it seeing my games and my opponents games this year. It just doesn't seem to know how to play the final 2 mins. My team, instead of doing short passes like I do all game long, all of a sudden throws 4 straight hail mary's, including going for it on my own 13 yard line with 2 mins to go and 3 TO's left. It's mind boggling and frustrating.

Not trying to get all mathmatical again... but I'm 95% sure that Columbus and Phoenix both CLINCH their playoff spots with wins in WEEK 14 and can clinch their divisions with the right combination of losses.
