I think we've pretty much got a round 1 bye locked up, so we're going to try to continue getting away with winning using some backups. These last three weeks are not the time I want to see some parts of the team getting hurt.
Also serves as a good time to make those unhappy citizens happy again. Hopefully Boone & the 1st string offense can continue to carry the defense we're throwing out there.
Three straight losses for us and we're not going to be cruising into a first round bye or even the division crown. We've had a few injuries the past few games we need a big win vs Denver here.
PH lost a close hard fought battle vs SF and now have 2 games vs subpar teams
Both wins are crucial in the strongest division in the league
a bye is still possible and so is elimination from the playoffs
(this is not fair considered what a great season the team has had so far)
Wow. I was looking at the preview for this week and thinking, "Damn. That's the difference in good gameplanning. I have all the green Xs and Utah has all the blue bars." Then I saw Nut's post here. Resting starters. That makes way more sense.
Boston come to town and they are stacked so this is going to be very hard for us. I am a bit shocked you're only 8-6 with that roster Bomber! GL with the game
The Good, Bad and the Ugly, our defense is nothing short of ugly, our offense is bad and the good is that we've made the playoffs as divisional champs somehow even though we got our arses handed to us on a plate in this one. One and done in the playoffs is a certainty. GG Bomber
Torched by a 34/34 QB, 41/41 WR and 25/25 WR... Awesome...
One of these days than nothing works in Ohio... At least we control our own destiny and only will need to PXT away to hit the WC for 3rd consecutive year!!
Great game Rando! Congrats!
Miami Sharks (BLB) * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.
With 5 passes defended, Rickey Liliedahl leads the league with 27 and breaks his previous team record of 24 (I think). And to think, no one wanted to trade for him before the deadline. Okay, ter13dan did, but NO ONE ELSE! ;)
Big loss to cloud our playoff hopes. We'll need to off the division champs in week 17 to ensure we punch a ticket to the dance. I think next season we'll try and give Donny Robinson a chance to be more than a game manager.
Well, we started the backup to try and avoid getting Walt Johnson hurt down the stretch and...the backup sprains an ankle. Hopefully thats a sign we knew what we were doing. Apparently the HC was smart enough to run a lot and we escaped with the victory. 13 in a row...damn...Ive never had a streak like this before.
Watch us go 1 and done in the playoffs and ruin it.
Since I put Nate Reese back in at QB we've won five in a row and only Boston was able to stop down our ultra low rent passing attack. I'm sorry Nate! I'll never doubt you again. (at least until I sign some other mid-30's rated scrub next off season).
