Great performance against LA. gg nelmsm. What a weird year for the Monsters with regards to turning the ball over -- they can't seem to stop!
We're managing for injuries now, but if we manage to finish the year right, we could even close in on two 1000-yard rushers. Or get very close!Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

gg mike17.
After Boston sacked our qb on the first play of the game, forced a 3 and out, then drove down the field to score a touchdown, I figured we were in for a long day. But our defense stiffened, our offense showed just a tiny bit of life, and with just over 3 minutes left in the first half we were leading 10-7. But Boston, with the ball on our 5, was on the verge of scoring again. Then this happened.
3-5-CAM05 (2Q: 03:13) Cary Money pass completed to WR Clarence McIntyre for 5 yards and a TOUCHDOWN! The quarterback threw into double coverage. PENALTY: Boston was called for Offensive Holding.
3-15-CAM15 (2Q: 03:03) Howie Gow ran inside the left guard for 1 yard. Tackled by S Sammie Cornyn.
4-14-CAM14 (2Q: 02:37) Troy Parrish attempted a 31 yard field goal and succeeded. Camden 10, Boston 10
(2Q: 02:31) Troy Parrish kicked off 54 yards from the BOS30. Sammie Cornyn returned the ball 84 yards for a TOUCHDOWN! Camden 16, Boston 10
(2Q: 02:31) Extra point by Lionel Yanez was good. Camden 17, Boston 10
The second half further devolved into a defensive slugfest where Boston kept us from scoring again and we held them to just two field goals to eke out a 17-16 win.
Combined, our last three opponents have managed convert a total of just 5 out of 37third downs. Although as much credit for this has to go the refs, as we see in the case above, as to our defense. If it is better to be lucky than good it is better still to be bribing the guys in the striped shirts.
This win moves us back atop the divsion, but for how long? Both Brooklyn and Boston are just one game back. We split the season series with both teams, but Brooklyn currently has a tie breaker over us in Division Record (tie breaker #2), while we hold Common Games (tie breaker #3) and Conference Record (tie breaker #4).There are no scenarios where we could beat Brooklyn in a tie breaker without also having a better record than them, which would render the tie breaker pointless. We must win more games than Brooklyn to win the division.
Boston cannot actually beat us on tie breakers. Their best possible finish for Division Record and Common Games would only tie ours worst, and then our Conference Record would still be better. Not that any of that would matter, in order for them to get into a position where they could even tie for Division Record and Common Games, they would already have a better record than us. Boston must win more games than us to win the division.

Another putrid performance from Ted Pleasant. If he didn't have affinities I'd be benching him for Douglas!

I think I might over value them since I tore crap up with an otherwise fairly average QB with double affinity and high cohesion in FOFL. He seemed obsessed with forcing the ball to my WR6 this week. :)
