I took a good long look at Denver and especially Los Alamos, well okay, I always do when I gameplan, so it wasn't like I went out of my way.

One thing I've observed: Phoenix and the resurgent Utah Bees do not have any internal conflicts within the players ratings, while Denver and Los Alamos both are chock full of conflicted players.

    No judgements, just an observation.

    hmmm, interesting observation. Thanks.

I did make one roster move to get rid of my biggest conflict. Maybe in the off season I can move some of the other "issues".

How does one know if the addition of a new player will cause a conflict or is it a crap shoot until he's on the roster?

When you offer a FREE AGENT a contract, you'll often times get messages from the players on your roster saying that he'll either be a welcome addition to the roster or that he would pose problems with a particular player. If I get that second message from one of my players, I don't offer. When you draft, I don't ever remember getting any negative feedback from anywhere. Perhaps Cotton or Skydog or another FOF vet would care to elucidate.

I do think that is where Los Alamos problems lie, your players aren't progressing like they should be. Too much locker room conflict.

As far as conflicts, you'll get a box telling you if players on your team really like or dislike the guy you're making the offer to, if A) he's a possible leader or B) your leaders have feelings either way. Usually they don't. You can tell if you might get a positive response from your own players if the player is highlighted in green on the FA 'Recommend' search, or blue if he might be a problem.

And as far as the Bees:

Utah's problems are inexperience and their GM's meddling in game plan experimentation. I didn't expect to be actually in the playoff hunt so I've been trying different things to see what Lucky and company can do. Sometimes it works, sometimes it's awful (as the Monsters saw) and sometimes we just get... Lucky.

I have some real big problems with HB Daniels and LT Holmes gone for the season. Major issues.
