The NFL trade deadline is now Week 8.

Any interest in moving our trade deadline to Week 8?

I like this idea.
-promotes more league activity
-gives GMs another thing to do with their teams a little deeper in the season
-reflects the real NFL

There are probably some drawbacks but I haven't really considered all of those potential angles and it seems like more owner engagement would be worth it.

Gotcha. Thought you were talking about the whole IR thing in the NFL where players can come back now.
