GL Red Zone. I really have no idea how this game is going to go, but I'm hoping the new additions in this matchup and home field will even things out and hopefully this one is interesting in the least.

GL to Waco this week. Hopefully we can get the turnovers under control and keep the momentum rolling onto a 2-0 start!

Im still trying to get a GP working with the new players, so im not sure what to expect. Not having my best WR isnt helping things either.
                      Good Luck

                          gg Al Davis

We fall behind by 14 early only to fight back just enought to once again lose by 3 points.

No end of game blocked field goal drama this week though. Instead we get a a dump pass to the backup fullback out of a goalline formation when by down 3, ball near midfield, 23 seconds left and no timeouts.

GG Red Zone. The game started off on the wrong foot, throwing away field position thanks to three straight runs and punt, then three straight passes, then punt. Luckily, it didn't come back to hurt us. The new additions were huge in this one. Glen had 3 runs over 10 yards with 3 TDs. Meanwhile, Stegman had a sack in this one. The scary part was Ryan Kolaja going off for 124 yards on us, but I'm happy we relatively took Banks out of the game. We lost our starting LG in this one, but I'd call this week a success regardless.

FWIW, we've now scored 38 points in first halves this season and 7 in the second halves.

gg, Phoenix! Turned out to be a little more of a defensive game between Dakota and Phoenix than expected.

Influenza ridden safety Corey Maiher had a huge game with 4 passes defensed and both QBs, especially Jennings, were harried all day by a pass rush. We gave up 3 big passing plays to Phoenix, but it's Phoenix, so doing that where Jennings attempted 47 passes is a win. Pleasant had a few gaffes but he hit a couple big TD passes too, to blocking TE Bernie Broady and rookie WR Hunter Engelm.

Hopefully the boys have been taking their Theraflu and they'll be in better shape next week.
