  • Week 12 Discussion

Ohio River host North Liberty meanwhile Motor City visits Sant Paul...

Both hard ones and the future of the AC East on the line...

Michael "Tim Tebow" Peterson carry us into the Play-offs a couple of years ago and now got the W AGAIN playing as a monster versus the Extreme in the last game throwing 5 Touchdowns with Howe and Worsham catching and running with the football all-over-the-field and Grauman hitting the 100 Yards game... The quick-rythm of our new offense worked good 49 Points and I will think between the future of the franchise Chustz "Probable but High Risk" playing our play-action offense" or repeat with Peterson and our "Quick rythm offense" one more week....

Walt Johnson filled in alright for us last season when Pleasant was hurt, and he'll finally have an extended chance to showcase his skills with Pleasant out 7 weeks with an elbow injury. Let's see how my favorite 7th round draft pick of all time does against Lake County this week!

the #1 and #2 rated passing attacks square off in Phoenix vs Pearl Harbor in game 2 of our 4 game home stand.

with randy boone back things have gotten tight. no margin for error the rest of the way, weve got to run the table to even have a chance. take the over on this one after the riders gave up 34 and 27 points in the last 2 games.

Wow awesome effort in ohio finishing the game kneeling down in the 2 yard line of north liberty... we still at front of the AC East half game away of Motor City who won against Sant Paul on the road, thought win...

Michael Peterson played another over 100 rating and with Chustz at 100% will be hard to bench him... Hard decision in rebuilding year who could turn into a Play Off game... Grauman ra for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns and we are the best running team in the league by far...

gg Brad. I'm surprised by how poorly Figures did. Not one of his best efforts.

How can New Orleans be 2-9? These guys look pretty formidable. We're going to have to win out.

I give up. Trade for a stud WR...still suck. Work on game plans all the time...another losing season.

It's been a fun ride but I'm getting fired after this season.

Please let me know if you figure it out because I haven't a clue what I've done wrong.
I thought we would be pushing you for the bowl spot this season!

We were out scored again today but put in a good effort against 10-1 Boston. Just can't seem to convert yards into points

Matt, the point of having a super receiver is being able to stretch the field with impunity. Otherwise, you aren't taking advantage of his abilities. Look at the breakdown of short/medium/long passes for Boston in the scouting report.

If you don't throw long...you're sending Randy Moss on a lot of 5-yard outs.

Mike's said this before I think, but everything he does is geared towards being able to throw long. Protecting the QB with Pass Block bars on every spot on the line, receivers that have BPR + RR. On defense, having pass rush tech guys on every single position on the line. I'm at least convinced he's right, and the entire 'oh, just get a run stuffing DT/ 3-4 RDE' bit of advice is ill-advised.

I used to subscribe to this but I have mostly been converted.

Walt Johnson put on one of the best performances in Dakota QB history vs Lake County this week, going 18/34 for 356 yards 5 TD 1 INT. He was chucking it deep, where, as Ben puts it, "Real Men" throw. We broke the team record for for points scored with our 51-28 win. Not too shabby for a backup QB, but Walt Johnson is no ordinary backup!

I'll put my offensive gameplan out there if people want to see it. It's not like it's a big secret at this point. I don't know how the league feels about gameplan sharing, but if it keeps people from quitting due to frustration in their offensive production, I'll be happy to let you peek behind the curtain of the Boston machine ;)

Our best game of the year. We have to build off this and keep fine tuning so we can assume our ultimate form for the playoffs.. If we make it.
