    Notable Totem/Ex-Totem retirements:

J.B. Trotter, our starting running back for most of the post-Sherdrick Allen years until Duckworth was drafted.

Rickey Banks, G - I traded a 5th for this guy to shore up our G position this year and then extended him in bowl week, figuring it was worth the gamble. He retired and took 2.x million extra with him. What a jerk.

Ricardo Dudgeon - He had a huge season and postseason in 2022 when we won the bowl, and joined the team for one last year after some seasons in Gainesville where he was our 5th cornerback. I guess the disappointment of not getting to one last bowl game was too much for him!

Lots of big name retirements from around the league:

    Bobby Tubbs - QB
    Tito Webb - WR
    Alvin Foley - WR
    Robert McGettigan - QB
    Geoff Meadows - WR
    Alfred Morrison - WR
    Terrence McCumber - RB
    Julio Strickland - WR
    Bart Ross - WR
    Carlos Melnick - OLB

Also, congratulations to my first ROY - Amos Irwin!

Dakota is also briefly the #1 most valuable franchise in the OSFL, although I'm sure that will change in the draft since I pretty much have zero picks. We'll enjoy our brief moment with 100 roster though. :)

Only one retirement in New Orleans. We lost Dirksen, a solid 4-3 end with 70 career sacks and 160 consecutive starts

Kurt Lee hangs 'em up - something we really thought he'd do last year, not too many 13-year DTs you see around - and it's the end of the road for two Utah greats in Alvin Foley and Emmanuel Logan.

Both started in the Stevens Cup, so and it's been a fitting send-off, especially for Foley these past couple of years.

Tubbs, McGettigan, those are some of the QB giants of the past two decades. And who doesn't know the name Julio Strickland. End of an era. And since it's the last time I'll get to say this -- alas, poor Melnick! I knew him, Horatio.

Why do I pick 1.3? Pearl Harbor (1.2) beat me twice last year. We both finished 4-12.

Kinda glad Webb finally hung 'em up. He was becoming a coach-killer in the end. Too many drops, not enough explosions. But - he was a very big reason we won our first and only championship, so salut!

heh, actually made my life a whole lot easier. 5 players retired, all of whom would've likely been cut.

I believe draft order is about SOS first, not head-to-head.

I dunno but I like it! My pick might be up for grabs by the way but I want to see the draft class first.
