Maybe there's some kind of bonus for guys that are well rested. Keeping playing time down to keep guys fresh been a Mike17-Secret-Tactic (TM) for many seasons.

I've found that after benching a starter, he often performs much better when he gets back in the lineup.

Nice to see Nall doing well in his new home. He really was wasted here. Also surprising to see him doing so well playing out of position much of the season at DT, would have figured he was too small for that.
After accidentally leaving Casey Baumgartner in at QB against Utah, I intentionally left him in this week. The results were pretty much the same. Whatever magic he still had left was gone one he shook off the last of his magic seasonal rust against South Maryland.
8-8 is about 4 or 5 games better than I though we would do this year. I cannot say I'm too tore up about us missing the playoffs, because honestly we had no business even being in the hunt.
