Yep. Such is our season, down by a point...

2-8-POR24 (4Q: 03:16) Antonio Woodward scrambled for 3 yards. Tackled by ILB Ron Monroe. The ball was fumbled and recovered by POR Sedrick Sullivan for 10 yards to the POR31.

Ummmm we should be in the Top of the division at this point with the Tie Break against Puntxawney won... But not, can´t understand why... Maybe cause they are 4-1 and we 3-2 at the division??

Yea. Division record comes before anything else in the tie breakers, I think.

              GG Bomber.

That was too close for comfort. You guys shut down Max Montano, but luckily Cary was Money and hooked up with his new favorite target Travis Christen pretty much at will.

The Hitmen are a team I don't look forward to facing in the future, since you play us closer than most.

                gg strick.

Phoenix brought their A-game today and stopped us from really doing anything, especially on third downs. We were trailing in the 4th, but tied it up and took it into overtime, where rookie receiver Bob Hansen continued to make sweet, sweet music with QB Randy Boone.

At this point, Boone's having his best season ever for the 14-0 Bees, and it's getting awfully hard to do the sensible thing and put his ass on the bench for the final two.

I honestly think there's been a negative die roll applied to your team all season.

                        gg Edirash

In what will almost certainly be the last home game of Casey Baumgartner's career, I just had to put him in there this week.

28/28 rating? "Significant" rust from not having played since last year? No longer has any affinities with any of our position leaders? Playoff spot on the line? Risk of being swept by in our division for the first time ever?

None of that mattered, after 16 seasons and two bowl wins, Casey was going to get this start. And he did pretty well with it. 2 TDs, 0 turnovers, 90.9 QB rating.

The credit for this win, though, goes to our defense. South Maryland threw the ball 53 times in this game and we held them to under 4 yards per attempt (while also holding them to less than 2 yard per rush) and picked off 3 passes.

Two of those INTs went to Burt Schroeder who is having crazy good year for anyone not named Cris Hutchins. Only 3 INTs, but 24 passed defensed vs 25 catches allowed and PDpct of 92.5. Not too shabby for a guy who was "Plan B" when fellow first round CB Alfred Lynch blew out his knee.

Speaking of injured first rounders. Disappointing rookie TE Marlon Turner is out 30 weeks with a hernia. We are unlikely to miss his 5.15 yards per catch. He joins C Nathan Sugatia on the "I'm not counting on him coming back" list. At the start of the season TE and C looked to be the two positions on this team I didn't need to worry about, now I'll likely be drafting one of each again next year.

I don't know why but I also have one CB with 16/24 creeping in the slot and is playing well with for example 2 Forced Fumbles and some passes defensed with a near 80 % pdp... Maybe is just have the right bars in the right position and play with his skills

I lost my guard Dustin Chorak with a severe hernia injury and got him back sometime during the next season, albeit about 5 points lower in rating. :(

Chris Hutchins is cray cray. I can't even explain the level of success he's had the last two seasons.

I moved my SILB Dan Harper to SLB in case he might play better that way (I've been playing him there this year in the base set). Thinking it wouldn't make a big difference either way and I only had three nominal OLBs.

Despite no change in rating and red exp he lost a significant amount of rating. Bugger.
