haha man I've led many leagues in passes surrendered by LBs.... I assume I've just been playing guys who aren't particularly good at coverage or dropping too many LBs back into coverage based on my defensive settings.

Don't run 3 deep/4 deep zone out of your base set and get linebackers who can cover. I think that's about it. haha

          Amos Irwin

First off, he should never have been in this draft.

Second, switch him to WR and he'll STILL be fast!

              He's a throwback 2-way player.

I predict 2,000 receiving yards and 4,000 sacks.

I forgot all about this guy around the bowl sim time, but yeah, we gotta watch out for top picks left unsigned on AI teams and do something about them. If that's possible.

This LB has high bars and goes +7, as we know from rookie TC. Insane.

Someone drafted him last year and didn't sign him? Poor bastard. I'd be chuffed hearing he's +7, but with this guy's draft stats, I'd already expected at least +7.

I'm having the same situation with Stan Lee about the WLB/SLB. He's a stud and I'm not sure what to do. First 4 seasons he played SLB, and won DPOY in 2026 (although he also played some games at WLB that season). This last season he played at WLB, yeah got 13 sack, and played injured at least the last 4-5 games, but looking at his pass coverage numbers I don't know if it worth the change. He went from 12-13 pass defended to 0, and from ~84% PDPct to 78%. That's why I signed OLB Norbert Slaten, I'm planning to put him at WLB, and moving back Stan Lee to SLB, and try to make the blitzing work.

                    • I was really hoping to get Slaten back at minsal, for the cohesion......booo. Good signing. Hope he puts up some stats at WLB, that's the best thing he can do these days.

I shoulda figured a team would see WLB in him and value him more than I did, as a backup SLB or SILB with cohesive value.

The stud LB at WLB question in a 3-4 is always a tough one. I feel like pass rush and dominating the line is the most important thing and you can make do with some lesser LBs. But when your LB is the best coverage LB ever, how do you take him off the field and watch teams burn you over the middle? I don't know. Guess you answered it by having a capable enough WLB, though.

One thing to watch out for at WLB, Slaten's endurance. Hope you got a backup. Melnick's still out there...

                      • SMD, if your other defensive PR positions aren't bringing much to the table the WLB's pass rush stats might underrepresent what he's bringing to the table as a pass rusher.

Don't know what your pass rushers were like overall 2 seasons ago, but it looks like you actually had a pass rush that was BETTER than the season with Lee at WLB. (About a 2% drop in PR%, near the bottom of the league WITH Lee at WLB.)

                          • Sorry I held things up so long guys but just finally got internet service back at the house today. Just threw Ellison out there this morning to move things along. Just hope my scout is right about him. To you guys who had made trade offers I really couldn't give them a good going over like I would have so I just made a pick.

NP, man. Can't help it if your ISP is being a bunch of jerkfaces.

Friend of mine has been dealing with repeated service outages and bad service from his for years, but they're the only game in town.

Oh, and Ellison looks pretty good. I like my guy more, but Ellison is a solid pick.
