    WOW!!

WR Julio Strickland sticks around for another year.

Figured if anyone was going to hang up the cleats it would be him.

Hopefully he doesn't drop to much in TC and can continue to produce.

I don't think he'll get to 1,000 receptions, unless he plays one more year beyond this one though. He's 111 shy of the mark, but hasn't topped 100 catches since 2022.

Yards wise, he is 298 shy of Rico Lofton and 1,377 shy of the top spot of 16,040 by Lawrence Ingram. Julio had 1,419 this past year, so this could be attainable for him this season, be interesting to see if he can break the record, which has stood since 2017.

For TD's, he is tied for 3rd with Lawrence Ingram at 111 TD's. Rico Lofton is 2nd with 118, and Shannon Rudzinski is the leader with 123, so he is 13 shy of taking the top spot here, it's reachable, and will be another interesting stat to keep track of.

Goodbye 2018 1.1 RB Donald Scheungrab. He finishes 3rd all time with 13,557 rushing yards and 3rd all time with 17,691 yards from scrimmage. Sorry we didn't get you that ring...enjoy retirement.

Only retirements for the Totems were recently acquired Craig Monroe, who played two years for us at tackle, starting in one of them, and the awesomely named Tony Christmas.

The real big offseason news for the Totems was Roy Parrish being enshrined with the immortals in the OSFL Hall of Fame.

Only time I've doubted you in recent memory: Fletcher for Sidhartha, and then Sidhartha for I forget what.

The latter one was just a bad bad idea. lol. "Let's start Vandersommen." Eight or ten games later, "Vandersommen sucks, gotta bench him." Now I look at what's left of my receivers and think "Oh dang."

I still think I got a good deal with Fletcher for Sidharta. Fletcher has pulled in some big TDs but he does turn into the invisible man too.

The contract was a consideration in the trade

Yeah the former one wasn't so great either. The cohesion I would have had there, plus I think I had just signed Fletcher to a big multiyear deal.

Apparently this is what I do, sign stud receivers to big contracts and then trade them. I did the same with Sidharta. WR Seppuku.
