STP vs UTA (-4)
The Return Of Sidharta and the terrifying Boston attack would've made for a great bowl matchup, but Boone vs Sage is no less intriguing.
St. Paul after all, beat that soaring Irish team and brings in a rookie QB of the type of promise Boone showed when he was younger. They're different guys, of course, but Sage has been very impressive in handling the full plate of the St. Paul offense while not demonstrating a very veteran-like ability to take care of the ball.
The Bandits are really hurting on the defensive side of the ball, where their two best DBs are probably done for their careers. A ring would be a great way to send those two out.
The Bees are going to be sending everything they have after those St. Paul tackles (the interior line is as good as any ever assembled). Starting RT Gene Sinclair was a former Bees draft pick who started two bowls for Utah (both wins). This is his first season in STP after 7 in Utah, and his first season starting.
For Utah, it's going to be the return and maybe sending off party for Hunter Vandersommen. If both he and Foley retire — both are under contract through 2029 — it would be the end of a great era of Utah receiving.
And for Randy Boone, super bowl win #4 would match Joe Montana. He played his first competent bowl game in 2027, and hopefully he'll keep that streak going this year.
Good seasons everyone & enjoy the show!
Also, this is your LAST chance to keep players from hitting free agency. If in doubt, give 'em what they want!
