Defensive League?

League average is only 287 yards a game. No big deal but is this normal for MP leagues?

It is normal for offensive output to be low in the first few seasons of a fictional league start, be it MP or SP. This has to do with the fact that it is an unrealistic start in terms of team cohesion: every offense in the league is playing together for the first time. Add to that the fact that when human input comes into play in a MP league, people tend to make worse decisions on their offensive game plan than defensive, and that explains it. In the study I did, average was 290.1 yards per game in Season 1, but rose by over 20 yards over time. Scoring was 17.6ppg in the first year, but rose nearly 2 ppg.
