Riders are unbeaten but haven't played a team with a winning record yet. With Yuma and Division rival Denver up next, it'll be interesting to see how we progress. My ancient running back seems to be on steroids or drinking from the fountain of youth. My QB, whom I tried to trade and no-one took the bait, has progressed dramatically over the last few games. The O-Line is gelling and the D is outstanding.

The prognosticators picked us second in our Division, but thought my Offense sucked. One of the reasons I don't put much stock in talking heads. :-#

I'm starting to believe in my team. I knew I had a team packed with potential, but I figured we were 2 or 3 years from competing. My offense has been next to unstoppable, and QB Dusty Cowell is amazing. The defense is giving up more on the ground than I would like, but we've done a great job tightening up in the redzone. 4-0, 2 games up in the division, and a big game this week with Port City. I know they're only 2-2, but I'm using this game as a measuring stick. Ratings-wise, they're amongst the best in the league.

The Mechanics are about who I thought they'd be. I think we over-achieved on defense the first 3 weeks and got exposed a little bit this week. Hecht (my QB) is not a long-term answer due to his age and ability. When my team has to pass, I don't like my chances. By back-ups aren't any better, but we could have a QB controversy brewin'.

I have back-to-back divisional road games coming up that I need to go at least 1-1 in to keep pace with Lake County (who has already gone 2-1 in their first go round in the division). And, I have to do it without my top WR (Supple). We're just happy we didn't pull the trigger on a trade that was in the works last week because we'd be seriously lacking at the Wide Receiver position.

Could be a very up and down season for the Mechanics... but we're happy to be at 3-1 right now.

lets see. Last week I had a 16-0 lead going into the 4th and ended up winning 16--9

This week I am up 27-9 after 3 and loose 31-30.

All the Bees need is experience. Just have to stay the course and not panic. I like the future potential of this group.

A touchdown would be nice, though. Pretty please. ;)

But hey, we're all at the mercy of our own preference drafts. I definitely tilted the scales toward youth, hoping to hit stride in a season or two, so I got what I asked for and just have to ride it out. :)

Well, I have mixed emotions about my team this year. The last 2 weeks the defense has started to step up, and the running game has really taken stride, but I am not happy with our effectiveness. We have won 2 straight games, and are building on the momentum. With a bye week, and a chance to heal up a couple of our players, I think we still have a chance to win the division, and definetely have a chance to make the playoffs.

I really don't know what to think of my team so far.

I have only played three games, and I am 1-2. One win over the 1-4 New Orleans Sting, and two loses to 3-1 Motor City and 2-2 Kalipsel. My division appears to be pretty mediocre, with 2-2 Washington, 2-2 Kalipsel, 1-2 me, and 1-3 Washington.

My defense has been solid, but I really need to figure out what I am going to do on the QB position.

I could be in the weakest division in the league and might not even be in contention for a playoff spot if I'm not careful.

I'm also in the boat of liking our future potential and just needing to stay the course. We are young and we are going to get better.

The Aces are just waiting for SOME development at the QB spot.. Doug Allen has not moved in his current or potential ratings so far, but with a couple weeks of mentoring, I'm hopeful our offense will make strides toward being respectable. The receiving corps seems to be terrible minus Al Cole and our TEs Glaspie and Carr.

On Defense, ups and downs have been expected with 4 rookies starting at LB. Missing Jon Banks for the last couple weeks has really hurt our defense against big plays, as we were beaten by them late in week 3 and all game long in week 4.
The pass rush has been a pleasant surprise and our run defense had been outstanding until Los Alamos came in and went crazy on us, but our inconsistency is probably due to our youth. Another young team with room to grow, just need to start growing already :)

Kalispel is happy so far, my team is built for the future and will experience growing pains.

Don't even get me started. Look at Lefty Lochtefeld's underacheivements. ;)

I'm going to change his nickname to 'Lucky'. Because when I'm watching him on Solevision, that's how it really seems when he completes a pass.
