  • 2027 Week 15 Pregame Discussion / Playoff Picture

    (12-1) Utah at (11-2) Denver

The Bees are happy to welcome a few of its players back to full health this week, mainly linebacker Dan Harper. We're traveling to Denver, though....I was hoping to never play starters on their turf again, but this year is going right down the wire.

A win here clinches the #1 seed. And would let us take the last two games off for the first time since 2022. There are a lot of young players in need of development time, so hopefully we can take care of business. GL marv.

    AFC Playoffs

With a Punxsutawney loss it's looking more likely that the AC West winner will claim #1 seed. There are a number of teams in the running for the 2nd AFC bye, including thenewchuckd's Anchorage squad.

It's very tight, though. A lot of teams in the running and very murky pictures in the South and East. With rookie OJ Sheldon out for the next two games, will the Bombers be able to make a charge and retake the North?

Either Denver or Utah has already locked down a wildcard spot. Either OHV or PXT will likely get the other one, though LAC's not out of it either. For the North and South, it's division title or bust.

    NFC Playoffs
There are more heavyweights in the NFC this year, with Columbus, Boston, and Las Vegas at the top, and a lot of teams jousting to get up there. The battle for the byes are wide open at this point.

While Boston has locked up the East and eliminated its brothers from playoff contention, and the North is down to Dakota and North Liberty, the NC South and West are going to get interesting. A lot of extremely competitive, heavily talented teams here.

If the earlier playoff rounds were cross-conference, I have a feeling the NFC would wipe the floor with us.

    AC East

With Lake County receiving Puntxawney in this week and Sharks travelling to Motor City it would be a great week for us and our expectations to reach the Play-offs... With a PXW win and beating MC should be enough to not be a all or nothing game at home in the last week of the season...

With PXW loosing against Boston (10-3) and I winning again against a 4-7 Camden squad in the next week IŽll earn the division crown aheading the last week... And a WC spot will be clinched!!

Well see what happens with the problematic knee of W. Andrews who puts him on the IR in the last game of the last season... First W or W against Motor City on the road!!

    Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
    * OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

Absolutely huge divisional matchup when we play North Liberty this week. If we win, we make the playoffs as long as we don't lose our following two games.

Unfortunately, I have extremely little confidence in our offense at this juncture.

Substitute 'Anchorage' for 'North Liberty', and there ya have the Bombers outlook.

Pearl Harbour (9-4) at Yuma (9-4) WC preview

This is a preview of a crazy wild card game where 2 teams could have easily been division leaders right now. We don't like the fact we have to play on the road but I guess we gotta duel it out. Tough game...should be a grudge match!

Playing for a bye. Maybe Columbus could lose a game or two to help us out.

All I know is we need to feed the gorilla, and hopefully the defense holds up their end.

Playing for nothing but pride this season (and to further ruin our draft standing). As poorly as things have gone for us this year, just about the only thing which could make it worse would be losing to Brooklyn. So, let's try not to do that, ok guys?

Ugly game nobody deserved to win and apparently frodo (1 fumble 1 int) didnt want to win..up 23-21

1-10-PHO32 (4Q: 02:44) Frodo Oglethorpe pass was intended for WR Jerome Kreitzer and was intercepted by CB Darrin Wheeler at the LA20. Tackled by Jerome Kreitzer. The quarterback threw into double coverage.

he heave a 52 yard bomb into double coverage

                    then on 4th and 2!

4-2- LA28 (4Q: 01:55) Blake McCormick pass completed to RB Terrance McCumber for 10 yards. The receiver went out of bounds. Tackled by CB Doug Pennington. McCumber gained 8 yards after the catch.

and to make sure they didnt win

4-2-PHO13 (4Q: 00:35) Hugh Matijacic attempted a 30 yard field goal and missed wide to the right. (we play in a dome)
