(12-1) Utah at (11-2) Denver
The Bees are happy to welcome a few of its players back to full health this week, mainly linebacker Dan Harper. We're traveling to Denver, though....I was hoping to never play starters on their turf again, but this year is going right down the wire.
A win here clinches the #1 seed. And would let us take the last two games off for the first time since 2022. There are a lot of young players in need of development time, so hopefully we can take care of business. GL marv.
AFC Playoffs
With a Punxsutawney loss it's looking more likely that the AC West winner will claim #1 seed. There are a number of teams in the running for the 2nd AFC bye, including thenewchuckd's Anchorage squad.
It's very tight, though. A lot of teams in the running and very murky pictures in the South and East. With rookie OJ Sheldon out for the next two games, will the Bombers be able to make a charge and retake the North?
Either Denver or Utah has already locked down a wildcard spot. Either OHV or PXT will likely get the other one, though LAC's not out of it either. For the North and South, it's division title or bust.
NFC Playoffs
There are more heavyweights in the NFC this year, with Columbus, Boston, and Las Vegas at the top, and a lot of teams jousting to get up there. The battle for the byes are wide open at this point.
While Boston has locked up the East and eliminated its brothers from playoff contention, and the North is down to Dakota and North Liberty, the NC South and West are going to get interesting. A lot of extremely competitive, heavily talented teams here.
If the earlier playoff rounds were cross-conference, I have a feeling the NFC would wipe the floor with us.
