Quoting from the rules forum....
What that last part means is that all questionable trades will be run through the League Office for review. I've heard some rumblings of some fairly ridiculous fire sale types of trades being thrown around and we're only in week three, so the problem is likely to get worse as the season progresses. Remember folks, the goal here is realism and you don't see NFL teams totally gutting their rosters for draft picks each season after they've been eliminated from playoff contention.
Making reasonable trades to acquire draft picks and better your future is one thing. But lopsided trades, the sort of which would never occur in the NFL, will be subjected to the Trade Review Board and will probably be nixed.
Just an FYI. :)
The League Office is comprised of the Commissioner and the two Conference Presidents. This 3-person body will examine, modify and draft league rules as well as helping to preserve the integrity and spirit of fair play in the OSFL.
