Frodo is unhappy and it showed as he gave the Washington DB all of Monty's tells as he threw 3 ints Washington hasnt found the endzone in 6 quarters, that being said it took us 7 quarters to get a td so kudos to both d's

frodo will continue to stand in the shadows

excuse me, but I must stand up for Mr. Frodo. He is the one to cast evil back into the fiery chasms from whence it came, not to be sent to the shadows himself. (although, granted, he stands in almost anybody's shadow)

And as "bad" as Frodo has been, at least he hasn't gone 0TD/4INTs in 110 attempts. Apart from his bad season opener, Frodo actually has done well this year. And in his defense, that was Utah he was going up against when he took those 6 sacks, 2 INTs, and 3 fumbles. That defense is pretty good. I also hear their GM is really handsome.

Frodo will get his love when Phoenix finally trades him to me next season!

We got a huge win over North Liberty this week, after giving up an early blocked punt which was recovered for a TD by a guy we traded to North Liberty.

Next up, Yuma, the best owner in OSFL that I have failed to get a win against. The closest was a week where I got rexed and my secondary leader was cut, causing conflicts in my secondary. It's a strategy I'll have to consider.

                REEEEEEEEEEEEAALLLLLLLLY?

what is it you guys over in the FOFC tell me and other "SAMPLE SIZE FOR FUCKS SAKE"

your gonna compare a 3 game sample size against frodos whole career? you didnt hear anyone screaming for frodo when he had 33 turnovers in 1 season.

and last time i checked the only important stat was wins and lamont is 2-1 but hey sample size right

oh yeah. good point. I did forget about that whole career of his :P

In seriousness I just find it hard to believe that Emerson is better. It's possible that he isn't much worse though. Goodness, did Frodo really have 33 turnovers in one season? That's almost as many as Rodney Granger!

(to be fair, all fumbles, even ones recovered by the team, are listed in the stats. There isn't a fumbles-lost stat kept as far as I can tell).

I think it's also fair to point out that Frodo drew Utah/DAK/OHV this year - all teams with high-powered offenses - and Lamont had struggling, QB-less Kalispel, gutted Anchorage, and Washington...as well as bad overall numbers, in his limited career.

Lastly, Frodo definitely isn't the first high bar rated QB to really struggle like this. So maybe he is just a lot worse than he looks. Even knowing how much bars can lie though it's just hard, looking at his, to think that he doesn't have some skills in him.

Sack-fumbles is an issue for all QBs I think. If Frodo has that many, it seems he must be getting sacked a ton, which is unusual, given his high sense rush. I think you could try protecting the QB (whomever it is) better by letting the rookie C start, and sliding the starting C over to guard, where BOTH guys currently are big pass blocking liabilities. Without better pass pro, anyone you put back there is gonna get killed.

                    Por/Den

Haha, here we go again.. I have a 3pt lead with 30 seconds remaining and Denver gets a first down or two and kicks a 58 yard field goal bringing it to overtime and I end up losing.. This game hates me I swear!!!

i dont think his bars are lying i think this is goes to the height thing really affecting his play i know your cursory assessment of my team is fairly accurate at least in regards to protection, the fact remains that frodo turns the ball over a LOT a shit ton and one other thing he has a really high number of passes defensed when he plays not something an outsider would notice cause theres not a bigh shiny stat for it or a combine for it it SEEMS his lack of a short passing bar (touch passing) seems to be causing that.

and the only reason the Ohio game was "high scoring".....FRODO FUMBLED, cant keep leaving the d on teh field for 35 min and as much as tom skeen got sacked A he didnt fumble as much and B it wasnt sack/fumble/tds

I always hear people say that thing about short QBs being more INT prone. Maybe the pass defensed thing is also related (does he get a lot of passes knocked down at the line too?)

With the OL issues another thing he might get a ton of is hurries. Yeah I would probably trade Frodo too when I get the chance. If you're gonna get meh QB play, at least get it from a 40/40 guy you aren't paying $20 mil a year to.

Nahhh. Look what you did with Skeen at the helm. I think there's an interesting possibility that some QBs just don't "play." Despite being by all possible other metrics, elite-looking.

So in my opinion, in this game, if you're gonna go crazy trading up into the top 5 for a guy, make it a WR.

                              Few thoughts.

                              1. Poop

                              2. Bear in mind that this game was in the rain and 15mph winds, so wouldn't go anointing Lamont just yet.

                              3. I must also keep that in mind as I ponder benching Sante's ass.

                              4. Emerson = Tebow. Catch the Mania!
