Week 6 Pregame

After getting soundly beat on both sides of the ball by Portland, we make a road trip to Anchorage to play our favorite nemesis, thenewchuckd (sorry, Nemesis).

He's "rebuilding", which means we're in store for a fight and he'll probably make a run at the playoffs. GL chuckie!

OK, let's try that one again. We play Anchorage this week, after our bye in week 5.

Utah signs ex-Columbus TE Jimmie Myers this week. Myers offers some ST ability, as well as receiving ability, and it seems like at least one TE is hard-coded to participate in a lot of ST plays. I don't want that guy to be Blades.

In other news, receiver Alvin Foley is now listed as 'probable' - 5 weeks - MCL knee surgery. Very low risk of reinjury. Do we start throwing him out there?

Also, Dakota's new favorite hobby appears to be signing ex-Utah players and releasing them right away. What's up with that, Foos!? TE Derek Wheeler and NT Jerald Berrios are very upset with you! Wheeler's so angry, he went to play for Morgantown.

The only thing worse than getting beat by a midget would be to get beat by his backup. Hope we can straighten out here against Phoenix, but we're not exactly lighting it up - apart from Gaither.

I found a better and more current Bee to replace them with! :) Wheeler was just expensive filler and Berrios was a one week fill in for DT depth.
