  • Week 5 Pregame

After getting soundly beat on both sides of the ball by Portland, we make a road trip to Anchorage to play our favorite nemesis, thenewchuckd (sorry, Nemesis).

He's "rebuilding", which means we're in store for a fight and he'll probably make a run at the playoffs. GL chuckie!

Soon wild car game at Port City this week!!

Should be a good match-up and the battle of turn-overs will decide the game!! Time to think how to face against them and try to do the best to be 4-1 and 1 W ahead the next WC oponent!

Uuuu hoooo Say I that Kelly Chervett is out of his depression and ready to play again?? Come on man!! Put some pressure in their LBs!!

          Por/Kal

After a huge team win verse a very good Utah team, Portland looks to start a winning streak going into the Father/Son bowl Part1 2027. Kalispel at the start of the season was looking like a young, talented, and upincoming team, but due to injuries especially at quarterback, they are just looking to salvage their 0-4 start.

          Keys to the game:

Kalispel looking to rebound after a bad first quarter of the season, changed from a 3-4 to a 4-3, looking to utilize its depth at defensive tackle which they need to stop Portlands two headed monster at running back to make Portland one dimension and force Pleaseant to toss it around (prone to picks early this season).

On the other side of the ball Kalispel needs to run right at Portlands defense who is towards the bottom of the league, without their Qb and Portlands stout passing defense Kalispel will struggle threw the air.

Turnover are big like always, but when Portland wins this battle they haven't lost this year, if Kalispel can force turnovers they will have a chance.

          Prediction:

With Kalispels Qb hurt Portland is the superior team and unless Kalispel forces turnovers this could be a blowout early.

          Portland wins 27 - 13

Sonofa... up 17-0 and we blew it.

Rickey Gaither with back-to-back 3 INT games. That's gotta be a record.

Another game, another loss. The only interesting development for us so far this season is we actually have some semblance of a running game. Nate Washington is picking up yards at almost a 6 ypc clip.
