good game, Defenders. I thought the turnovers were going to be killer for us, but we pulled through.

Our 2 headed running attack had a good game 1 with both Dougan and Tucker getting 100 yards.

Pretty happy with how we played.

gg Ozias. Turnover central killed us and maybe you having a huge lead played into this, but I kept your pair of super receivers from doing too much damage.

Sure did, but Kinney got a pair of TD's on the ground, and just shy of 100yds, so I can live with how the WR's played.

The 5 turnovers you had was the biggest difference in the game though, that's for sure.

Good start despite the result and the only thing that we really need to do is score a Touchdowns when we arrive at the Red-Zone... The same problem that last year... Need to review the gameplan and make those adjustements!

Kinney didn't do crap until you ran the ball over and over and over again in garbage time.

Utah scored every way possible except for a drop kick Punt ret td, kr td, pick 6, sack fumble, Bane blowing up the endzone, Moses splitting the red sea, football fell on isaac newtons head rolled into the endzone for a td.

they were scoring in a box with a fox. they were scoring here and there, they were scoring everywhere

                        POR/WASH

Divisional games are usually close and this was no different (27 W, 21 P). However, this one was sloppy - four turnovers for Portland and 3 for Washington. Pleasant threw for 332 yds on only 22 completion but he also threw two picks, fumbled twice, got sacked 7 times, and came out with bruised ribs and running for his life for 22 yds. The big difference in this game was Portlands inability to run the ball and stop the run (Portland 80 yds and Washington 160) which caused Pleasant and Portland's offensive snaps to become limited.

Oh my goodness, you ain't kiddin'.

The weird thing is, end of the day, it wasn't even a spectacular outing. The offense was pretty good, but not terrific. Our run game has apparently vanished (uh oh). Our defense did a good job, good enough to rank around 10th in the league in yards after one week.

But we scored on just about every kind of return possible, and got a really short possession on top of that. It turned a quiet (if one-sided) affair into a full-on blowout. GG strick.

Hunter Vandersommen picked up right where he left off at the end of last year, which is carrying the short-handed WR corps. Now, to find that ground game again...

Decent start for us, Grinding it out with Gornitsky will probably be our bread and butter and he did his job this week, just keeping us steady and on schedule offensively. We'll see how the defense holds up with the secondary being a little short handed.
