    Reminder on FA contract caps:


    you can offer:

    1 yr max $2mil
    2 yr max $4mil

    Anything 3 years or more is open/fair game (meaning, you may offer as much or as little per year as you wish, as long as the deal is 3+ years long).

      It may be time to inflict sanctions. Does this not disrupt bids made by other owners costing us a potential signing.

        i think so at least for the owners that have been here 2 or more seasons?

        but what penalty? draft picks would be too harsh, maybe they arent allowed to bid/sign that player at all?

          It doesn't necessarily disrupt things as long as you remember to go back and offer the player again. But that's easy to miss. At some point* offending teams should be sent a message. A draft pick is probably the easiest way for them to feel it, but where does the pick go?

            you just skip the pick or the commish drafts the #754 guy or the lowest punter/k ?
