Our long time bookends at tackle, Lincoln Lewis and Andre Peterson hang it up. Lewis had a nice season last year and we were hoping he'd come back, but Peterson was pretty much done anyway. (He appeared in 3 plays for us last year.)
The only remaining member of the team from when I took over is Roosevelt Dunn, who, provided he doesn't drop to something like 20/20, will remain on the team and perhaps start.

WR Zach Coughlin and RB Earnest Giang both retire. It was fun gameplanning with them. Giang would've been a year-11 RB headed for another franchise tag, which would've been a big cap hit. Still, feels like the end of an era.
Alvin Foley gets 20 weeks cut off from his injury (now only injured for 15 more weeks), and is looking strangely not dead yet...Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

RB K. Giles was named Offensive Rookie of the Year!! Great surprise for me... I really think that this guy have something special inside and the game honored him with the maximum award for his first year!! Come on man!! See what happens in TC...
ILB D. Graham was voted for the 2nd All-pro team... Glad to have this former first rounder as the second best in the league!! Heīve a lot work during the season and this is a good recognition for him!!
FB W. Sailer wents to the retiretment and heīll always remembered as a All-pro full-back in Boston, semthing late in Ohio to open lanes for W. Cleghorn in our play-off first year rush but heīs done!
Some kind of cap hit when a player like veteran retired??
Something to do in this SIM fellas??Last edited by Sharkn20; 12-03-2012, 07:21 PM.Miami Sharks (BLB)

The next sim will be the first staff hiring stage, so now's the time to look over coaches and scouts.
If a veteran retires and he was going to be under contract, then his bonus money still counts as a cap hit. It would be under "Lost Cap Room".Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

Roster Strength
Pearl Harbor is the new '100' in roster strength, at least at this juncture. Las Vegas is #2 (welcome back, Koz!) at 93. Dang, no wonder those PH guys made the CCG.
Season Awards
No surprise, Bobby Tubbs gets POTY, OPOTY, and 1st-team QB. We kept him out of the Bowl MVP slot, which belongs to his RB, Hartman.
Roger Salinger is your 1st-team RB, and Paul Harward (GAI) and Alfred Morrison (PHO) are the first-team WRs.
Utah gets two first-team linemen, G Mo Giles and RT Geoff Keisel.
Fastest Man and Strongest Man go to CLB's Tyrus Dennis and WAS's Shawn Blake, respectively.
Pretty studly group of 1st-team LBs: Bernie Price (a hand-picked newchuckd product), Stan Lee, and Sam Fisher. Not bad on the names front for those OLBs, too.Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

No surprises of the retires, though it's sad to see Britt hang em up. Bates was a pretty good WLB for me and the other guys filled in as team leaders well. Daluiso retired in the right jersey.
I think to take a second and thank Brenden Murray for his lengthy commitment to the Maniacs. He was one of the best players on my defense and weathered a switch to DE where he manned that position well for a number of seasons. Time to let in some new blood.
I'm screwed for finding new coaches. AI will have to handle it.
