wow... I haven't posted recently so I wouldn't jinx us, but that was one impressive season turnaround. We started 0-7 and then ran the table with 9 straight wins and somehow screw Clay and his MTC squad through tiebreakers to get the division title and get back to the playoffs for the first time in a few years.

Not having Ireson in the first half of the season absolutely killed the team. In less than half a season he gets almost 60 receptions for 1200 yards. Covington continued where he left off last season having another outstanding year to follow up his MVP season from last year. We are really hot right now and I hope in continues in the playoffs.

Ireson is a beast...and to think I almost didn't draft him that year cause I had a huge need for Defensive players at that time.

Receivers are the life blood of your offense in FOF in most peoples opinion. Great receivers can make a crappy QB look like a HOFer and with a great QB they are almost unstoppable. I won the OSFL Bowl with average to poor receivers back in the early years, but I think its pretty rare to win without good receivers. I had a really good defense that year and Yuma laid an egg in the bowl. I think if that sim was run 1000 more times I get my ass handed to me 999 of those...Yuma was loaded and run by one of the best GMs in the OSFL, I got lucky.

I can't believe I lost both games to Phoenix in the last few minutes! This one really hurt as I had two missed field goals and gave up a safety and lost by three.
