Goodness now my punter is out for 3 weeks...can I just use my kicker in his place or do I have to sign a punter so HAL doesn't sign and cut someone?

I think you have to sign a punter. That is a pretty epic run of injuries there, Matt.

Fortunately there is a pretty good one out there... Just IR your current guy; he won't be back, for the year, anyway.

Well I put mine on IR and made an offer. Do I need a midweek or will that be sufficient as long as the guy signs?

I hate asking Brad for mid-weeks constantly...unfortunately this game requires them a lot less HAL wrecks havoc on your team.

Hm I think I would get a midweek. Your roster might be safe since there is room regardless, but depth chart could get rexxed. Most occasions, midweeks are actually unnecessary -- but when you have to export with an illegal depth chart, you more or less need them, and that's been the case for you here.

But yeah, normally when you just want / don't *have* to sign a guy, you can just activate only 45 or 44, fill your depth chart, and send in an offer or two.
