  • Awards Committee - assemble!

Please post here if you would like to be on the OSFL Awards Committee. As outlined in the league rules, the Awards Committee is made up of five owners and is responsible for:

    1. Determining the end-of-year awards.

    2. Determining how many players appear on the ballot for each end-of-season award.

    3. Receiving nominations from league owners via email and compiling the votes for each award.

    4. Creating new awards as necessary and for running the award voting in the Awards Forum.

Once created, the Committee's first job will be determining and naming the end-of-year awards. Please only express interest if you are willing and able to attend to the above duties. Note that every owner receives an awards vote, including Awards Committee members. But it is the committee's job to establish the awards and manage the voting process.

      I'd be interested.

I'd also like to put it out there from the beginning that I think the "awards commitee" should internally choose Player of the Week awards that are not voted on by the league.

I like that idea. Offense/defense/special teams, both conferences?

I created a private forum for the awards committee to discuss the weekly awards. Let me know if you guys have access. Scroll to the bottom of the Forum Index to find it.
