I'll give you that the division has the Western Have-Nots all stacked together, but Nashville and Detroit are two of the top 3 to 5 teams in the NHL right now and they're sharing the ledger.

No first round loss this year. They're on a mission. That Philly game was not a true picture of the hockey they've been playing. If Hasek can get back to 90/95% it will be tough to pick against them.

This isn't the same team that dissappears in the playoffs. Zetterberg is the Red Wings right now and he was the only one who showed up in that Edmonton series last year.

It feels pretty bad, honestly. And no, it's never happened before between the Flyers and Pens. 0-8 against another team in the NHL is just pretty disgraceful, regardless of who the two teams are. But at least we got more competitive as the year went on instead of being dusted by 8 goals in every game like we were earlier in the season.

But yeah, I was going to come back with the "at least we'll have a team next year" retort, but I see you've preempted me.... :D
