  • 2024 records & awards

The HTML pro bowl teams and dogbyte awards aren't up yet, but as for the rest...

    League's Fastest Man
Byron Blackshear, 7th year WR out of Port City, takes this one with a 4.26 this year. Am I the only one who has no idea who this guy is, and how in the world he ended up with 98 big play? Not bad for a 27/27 guy overall.

Port City has has this guy, a 36/36 guy with 96 BPR in Kelly Lorch, and of course, Marty Hudson, who has a 100 rating in every single bar except the returns. Gainesville may not be the only one carving up defenses in years to come...

    League's Strongest Man
1-2 on this list are both former Utah draft picks! LT Willie Sidharta (SFO) and DT Lance Orbik (PC) are tied with 43.

    All-League Awards
Bobby Tubbs wins his second straight League MVP/Off Player of the Year. Great career, this guy.

Sam Fisher, in his second year OLBing for Los Alamos, takes defensive POTY.

The rookie awards go to Jughead's RB Gino Hanks, and garion's flaming genitals.

Your first-team offense skill positions: Tubbs, MOR RB Roger Salinger, CAM FB Stan Grier, SFO WR Shawn Wells, CLB WR Tyrus Dennis, and rookie WAC TE Artie Summers. fmonster, you effer. Everyone wanted him :-P 10.53 ypt, that Summers!

Couple more highlights, Las Vegas gets both first-team DEs (WOW are they good), and a nice set of QB/RB/WR/WR in the second team -- OHV Walter Andrews, BOS Max Montano, GAI Julio Strickland, LAC Vinny Ireson.

For our part in Utah, we got the first team center and a second-team tackle (though the latter was a part time starter, and not particularly impressive, I thought...)

    New Records

Yuma sets a record for Rushing Yards Allowed with 80.1 in 2024. Previously held by Yuma, with 81.0, in 2012.

Max Montano, previously mentioned, now owns the yards-from-scrimmage record at 2573.

Gainesville demolished the previous single-game passing yards record of 480 (CHI, 2016, against BOS) by putting up 603 vs Camden. They notched the total yards record that game as well, with 664.

Chicago broke a playoff record for passing yards allowed by holding Morgantown to 74. Very impressive.

Utah kicker Troy Parrish also has a playoff record of his own with 20 points scored vs New Orleans. The most "almost effective" offense ;)
