      Washington vs Portland

With Portlands Rookie QB hurt Portland signed Reuben Muir and that seemed to be the difference. Washington banked on Portland trying to pound the ball and they simply stacked the box.

Portlands Defense however played a solid game despite having to be on the field nearly 40 minutes!

      Portlands players of the game:

Offense- WR Monty Nugent 8 catches for 97 yds.
Defense- ILB Jason Cheli 10 Tackles and 1 Sack
      S.Teams- Max Owens 9 Punts 47.8 Average Longest Punt 60 2 Inside the 20.
Head Coach and GM of Portland Phantoms

      Ryan Michael Rutherford

Wow, that Washington attack is gonna be a doozy to defend. Bombers are still among the elite teams in the AC. Love their style. Tough injury though.

gg strick. This was not as bad as it looks, as both your OFF and DEF put up good fights. We got the jump on you early, won the field position battle in a huge way, and had a defensive TD to boot.

On the home front, Stephen Easton got his start in the nickel and now he's just "angry", down from "demanding trade." As soon as he gets to content, I'm locking down that sucker for the long term.
